HIKING
Wonderkloof has various hiking routes. Pack a picnic basket and Enjoy both scenic and physical routes that take you into the heart of the Blue Gum forests. With 2 magestic waterfalls in the area, you are sure to experience a little bit of Utopia. If you are planning on taking a hike, please confirm with either Christelle or Wieland for saftey and monitoring purposes.
SUDWALA CAVES
Caves are natural wonders and while there might be many of them located all throughout the world, there are no two caves that are the same. Caves can vary in size and they can also have many differences when it comes to the structures that are found within the cave system. While what we are looking at is a cave that seems to have undergone all of the changes possible, the reality is that the cave is a structure that is continuously growing and changing with the transformations taking place very slowly.
MANKELE MOUNTAIN BIKING
Mankele’s world class trails has become the training playground for SA’s top riders. With a number of top events held at Mankele, the trails are always kept in race condition.
The adrenaline pumping trails have an excellent balance: from lung bursting climbs, disc burning descents, nail biting north shore, big drops, river crossings and fast, smooth single track. We have something here for everyone, no matter what riding skill, fitness level or age.
All trails are marked out using an easy to follow colour coded system, with points of interest along the way and warning signs for any technical or heart in your throat obtacles, many of these have an atrenative and less intimidating "chicken out" detour around them.
RIVERWILD 4X4
The Riverwild 4x4 Off-road Recreation Experience offers several routes with a variety of challenging natural obstacles – try the River Rat Run, Croc Crossing and Shongololo, the ultimate long and winding bush tunnel.
Safety, vehicle care and enjoyment are the cornerstones around which the Riverwild 4x4 trails were developed. Cross-country drives and trips in the scenic surrounding forest are available for off-road vehicles without low range. A wide range of exciting adventure and recreation activities are also offered.
